HOW TO BECOME
To start, you'll need to submit your application. During this step, it is essential for applicants to read and agree with the rules and criteria of the organization, ensuring a mutual understanding and commitment to the community's goals and values.
To apply as a member of the XR Ukraine Community, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Focus on XR and Related Technologies: Applicants should be actively involved in the development, research, or implementation of XR (extended reality) technologies, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR).
Registration or Nationality Requirements: Eligible applicants include companies and individual entrepreneurs registered in Ukraine, Ukrainians who are co-founders of international companies, and Ukrainian nationals.
Pro-Ukrainian Stance: Applicants must agree to support a pro-Ukrainian position, acknowledging Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This includes not denying Russian aggression or recognizing any attempts at the temporary annexation of territories.
Community Recommendation: While not mandatory, a recommendation from an existing member of the XR Ukraine Community is highly desirable.
For organizations seeking to become partners with the XR Ukraine Community, the following criteria apply:
Interest in Collaboration: Ukrainian or international companies are interested in partnering with the XR Ukraine Community to develop and apply XR technologies further.
Pro-Ukrainian Stance: Similar to member applicants, partner organizations must agree to support a pro-Ukrainian position, not denying Russian aggression or recognizing any attempts at the temporary annexation of territories.
After submitting your application, it will undergo a review process that can take up to 30 calendar days. The review and selection process for both members and partners combines into a unified procedure:
Application Review: The Board members conduct a monthly review of applications to ensure they align with the community's goals and values.
Verification of Compliance: Applicants are vetted to confirm their adherence to the membership or partnership criteria, including their professional background, organizational registration, and pro-Ukrainian stance.
Board Voting: Acceptance into the community requires a majority vote by the Board members, with a 2/3 majority needed for approval.
Membership fees: Join our community today for free! However starting September 2024, we intend to introduce subscription plans, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your needs. At present, your support is greatly appreciated as we continue to refine our community platform and curate impactful XR events.
